Autumn Lecture Series Continues with:
‘Tullyelmer – A Townland Through Time’ Tullyelmer is a small townland on the outskirts of Armagh. Sean Barden from Armagh County Museum explores its history, geography and industrial archaeology. He will relate how it has changed over the years and talk about its land and its owners; and how its situation on the banks of the Callan river has given rise to its mills. We all value the heritage of our townlands, which are unique to Ireland and Sean will exemplify the sense of belonging that we have for our townlands.
Come along on Tuesday evening, the 19th November to the Talbot Hall, Salters Grange at 8.00pm.
