Before and after the Rising – Ireland Socially, Politically & Economically

This talk by Dr Fearghal Mac Bhloscaidh will outline the economy of East Tyrone in the period before the Irish revolution and proceed to an analysis of the wave of militant trade union activity that took place locally between 1918-1920. It will conclude by assessing the politics, society and  economy of the area post-partition.
