Launch of Dúiche Néill No.27

The O Neill Country Historical Society will officially launch the 27th volume of its acclaimed historical Journal Dúiche Néill at Benburb Priory on Saturday 6th June at 10.30am

The society is also marking a significant milestone this year celebrating 40 years since the publication of the first edition in 1986.

Now under the editorship of Dr Donal McAnallen, Duiche Néill has become one of the most respected and successful local history journals in Ireland.

The publication researches and records all aspects of the rich and diverse history and heritage of O’Neill Country, encompassing Counties Armagh and Tyrone

This latest volume features a wide range of articles by distinguished historians and writers including Dr Alan Harpur, former Archbishop of Armagh, Dr William Roulston, Roland Spottiswoode, Brian Mallon, Helen Meehan, James Kane and many others.

Guest speaker for the launch will be Dr Hiram Morgan, a Belfast native and senior lecturer in history at University College Cork

Everyone is warmly invited to attend this special occasion.
